Voice Chat - Add way to disable/leave voice chat
I would like to be able to leave voice chat at any time, and disable/enable the option to join in the first place. A bonus feature would be muting a specific player (for when you are playing with a friend but a third person is being a jerk).
This will make players who do not wish to use voice chat feel more comfortable, help protect against abuse, and also allow folks who might be streaming or recording videos of the game to not worry about a random player saying something objectionable.
Right now, it appears all players join automatically even if they do not have voice enabled (in Steam?) themselves. Being able to opt in and out would be appreciated!

ODS Kangaroo AdminWe apologize for the voice chat having very limited functionality during the closed beta, and would like to share that it's something that we have been working on to improve. We explored various voice chat solutions and plan to implement additional features in the future--e.g., per-agent voice chat volume adjustment.

ODS GeeK AdminWe implemented a new middleware in CB2 to make improvements to voice chat, as well as added other communication tools.
For more details, please check out the CB2 patch notes: https://oceandrive.studio/2023/04/05/blackout-protocol-cb2-patch-notes/ -

JenThank you for the custom options in the new beta. I didn't need to this time, but I was grateful that I could turn individual volumes down to zero.
If it's not in the plan, please consider a menu option that toggles auto-joining voice chat at the start of a game. I may be in a situation where I want to mute the other players and I'd rather not have to go and do that in every new game, especially if my teammates keep changing. -

ODS GeeK AdminThank you for the additional input, Jen :D
I made it into a separate suggestion for better tracking: https://blackoutprotocol.featureupvote.com/suggestions/439541
